Aaron is a partner at Foley Bezek Behle & Curtis, LLP (“FBBC”) and practices in the firm’s Santa Barbara office. Aaron’s practice focuses on lender liability, class actions, and complex business litigation including civil actions related to financial fraud, such as Ponzi schemes, securities litigation, and other forms of investment and business fraud.

Aaron attended law school at the University of San Diego School of Law and joined the firm as an associate in 2013. During his time with the firm, Aaron has been a member of the litigation team on cases that have resulted in more than a hundred million dollars in settlements. For example, Aaron was involved in a nationwide securities class action against a large oil and gas company that involved not only securities issues but also a host of complex issues particular to the oil and gas industry. Additionally, Aaron’s work was key in reaching a substantial settlement in a class action against a large lending institution where the allegations centered on a sophisticated Ponzi scheme. The settlement provided the investors with nearly seventy percent of the funds they originally invested, despite the fact that the active defendant was penniless and imprisoned, requiring FBBC to seek recovery from the financial institution. Aaron has also co-tried a case involving a commercial land dispute in Santa Barbara County, obtaining easement access rights essential for the use of the client’s property, where the successful theories were creative and tailored to the specific issues of the case.
