Bailey G. Smith is an Associate at Foley Bezek Behle & Curtis LLP.

Prior to joining FBBC, Bailey worked as a Healthcare Associate at a prominent law firm in Sacramento, CA. There, she focused on licensure and enrollment matters for nonprofit primary care clinics. She interacted frequently with state regulators, from the California Department of Public Health to the Department of Health Care Services. Before joining private practice, Bailey worked as a Post-Graduate Research Assistant for the UCSF – UC Law Consortium on Law, Science & Health Policy.

Bailey received her J.D., cum laude, from the University of California, College of the Law (formerly UC Hastings Law) in 2022. After receiving her J.D., Bailey received her LL.M. in 2023 from Georgetown University Law Center, where she focused on National and Global Health Law.

During her legal education, Bailey was involved on campus as a representative for student government, as well as a member of the Hastings Constitutional Law Quarterly journal. She also won awards for her legal research and writing, including Best Oral Argument in her Legal Research & Writing II course, and First Place Best Brief in the Fall 2020 Snodgrass Intramural Moot Court Competition.

Bailey received her B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she double-majored in Global Studies and Language, Culture, & Society and minored in Professional Writing: Civic Engagement.
