Peter J. Bezek is a co-founder of the firm. He has 43 years of jury trial experience in Federal and State Courts throughout the country. Pete served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Washington from 1977-1980 prosecuting civil child abuse cases (parental deprivation) and consumer protection actions. He also was a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney, Spokane County, State of Washington assigned to felony prosecutions and trials from 1981-1982. In 1982, Pete entered private practice.

Pete focuses on jury trials involving complex business litigation, lender liability cases, class actions, intellectual property litigation, and Internet/e-commerce litigation. He has been lead or co-lead counsel in actions successfully litigated against some of the country’s largest companies, including Verizon (formerly GTE), Verizon Wireless, AT&T, AT&T Wireless, T-Mobile, Bank of America, Fidelity Title Insurance, Chicago Title, Great Western Bank, Bank of the West, Union Bank, East West Bank and Wells Fargo Bank, to name a few. He has obtained verdicts, settlements, and workouts worth in excess of $1.0 billion. Pete, along with a team of talented partners, bring their combined experience and judgment to each case and they design litigation strategies to protect the rights of their clients.

Pete is a 1977 graduate, cum laude, of Gonzaga University Law School. He was admitted to the State Bar of Washington in 1977, to the State Bar of California in 1982, and the State Bar of Oregon. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, Eastern and Western Districts of Washington; and the Eastern, Southern, Central, and Northern Districts of California, United States Court Of Appeals For the 9th Circuit and United States Court Of Appeals For the 10th Circuit. He has also been admitted to appear in various court proceedings, including jury trials, throughout the country, in both Federal and State courts.
